Content Optimizer
Short answer
Check how a page uses its target keyword and, for HTML, how ready it is for AI answers: readability, structure, structured data, author details and citations.
What It Does
Checks content against a target keyword: word count, whether the keyword is used at all and not stuffed, whether the keyword appears in the first 100 words and whether it appears in the title or a heading. When you fetch a URL or paste HTML, it also scores the page's AI-readiness — readability, factual density, sections, direct answers, structured data, and author, date and citation signals — which shows how easy the page is for AI systems and search crawlers to read and quote.
Why It Matters
Refreshing a page you already have usually costs less than writing a new one. Keyword placement tells readers and search engines what the page is about, and pages with clear sections, direct answers, dates and named authors are easier for AI systems to read and quote. Checking both before you publish saves a second editing pass.
How It Works
-
Enter a URL, or paste your text or HTML, and the target keyword
-
We count how often the keyword appears and where
-
Check length, placement and keyword stuffing; for HTML, also check structure, structured data and trust signals
-
Return a result for keyword use and, for HTML, for AI-readiness

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this just a word-count tool?
No — word count is one signal alongside whether the keyword is used (without stuffing) and where: in the first 100 words and in the title or a heading. With HTML it also checks AI-readiness.
What does the AI-readiness part check?
Readability, factual density, how the content is split into sections, direct-answer patterns, author, date and citation signals, structured data, length and citation-friendly language. It needs HTML, so fetch a URL or paste the page source; plain text gets the keyword checks only.
Does a good AI-readiness score get me cited?
No tool can promise that. The score shows whether the signals that make a page easy to read and quote are in place.
Does this compare my content to competitor pages?
No — it checks the content you give it against your target keyword, not against other sites.
How long should my content be?
The length check passes 300+ words, but the right length depends on the topic and on what already ranks for it.
Does it work for non-English content?
The keyword checks work in any language. The readability part uses the formula made for the text's language (English, German, French, Spanish or Italian) and is left out for Greek, which has none.
